The Framework gallery was established in 1990 by Peter and Fiona Foyle to provide not only a creative and quality picture framing service but also to offer a gallery exhibiting original paintings by Scottish Artists.

Peter graduated from St. Martin’s School of Art, London in 1986 and worked as a freelance illustrator before becoming involved in the picture framing and fine art trade. Working as an artist as well as a picture framer has enabled Peter to offer a insight into picture framing seldom found elsewhere.

There are over 100 mouldings and 50 mounts available which are not only suitable for framing paintings but also for photographs, certificates, sport shirts and needlework. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Since 1990, The Framework Gallery has displayed work by many Scottish Artists and at present has work by Ian Elliot, Pat Kramek, Jim Wylie, Pam Glennie, Douglas Lennox and many more. These can be viewed and purchased at the gallery in Troon, Ayrshire. There is also a wide range of limited edition giclee prints available.

The Framework Gallery also promotes craftwork including ceramics, glass, forged and spun steel.
